Pamela says she loves her Bolt EV and loves skipping the gas station but sometimes misses all the delicious snacks. In the video, Holland has Pamela take a drive in the 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV while his team renovates her garage.
When she returns, instead of her dingy garage, she is greeted by a sleek blue and white design along with shelves packed with all the best gas station snacks.
“I’ve seen firsthand how homeowners are evolving their space to fit the EV lifestyle, so collaborating with Chevy on this garage transformation was a seamless fit,” said Holland. “To create the ultimate garage space for Pamela, we incorporated inspiration from beloved gas station snacks and transformed the space into a modern oasis for EV living.”
While you might not turn your garage into a gas station convenience store, you can reimage your space by making the switch to an electric car like the Chevrolet Bolt EUV. Chevrolet is helping make this switch easier by covering the cost of a standard installation for a Level 2 charging outlet.
The Chevy Colorado is a legendary truck among Texas who have a passion for cutting loose on the weekends. The all-new 2023 Chevrolet Colorado — coming next year to Bruce Lowrie Chevrolet in Fort Worth, Texas — dials that legend up another notch and helps make it possible to do even more with your free time.
Up top, the most impressive change to the 2023 Chevrolet Colorado may be its revamped engine lineup. The all-new Colorado now sports three versions of the 2.7-liter Turbo engine made famous by the Silverado 1500. At the top of the range is the 2.7-liter Turbo High-Output, which cranks out an estimated 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque for the rugged ZR2.
Speaking of the legendary ZR2, it’s getting even better for 2023. Chevrolet is offering the Colorado ZR2 with perks like five selectable drive modes, a high-performance lifted suspension, and the combination of an 11.3-inch-diagonal touch screen and 11-inch-diagonal digital Driver Information Center. In Off-Road Performance Display mode, you’ll be able to monitor key metrics like pitch and roll and g-force.
The 2023 Chevrolet Colorado is better all around, offering up four unique interior trim styles, up to 10 available camera views, and a segment-first tailgate storage system. While the current Colorado is plenty impressive, this one just cranks it up to 11.
For decades, the Chevy Suburban has stood out as being one of only a few SUVs that can manage towing trailers and hauling passengers. Though options have grown for handling this multi-tasking feat, the Chevy Suburban and the Chevy Tahoe have ranked among the best used SUVs for towing, according to Kelley Blue Book®.
The Chevy Suburban was engineered to handle itself well. KBB® applauded the SUV for its nine-passenger seating and 137 cubic feet of cargo space with the seats folded. The Suburban was also praised for its heavy-duty suspension and axles, 352-horsepower 6.0-liter V8 engine, and 9,600-pound trailering capability. Plus, KBB pointed out that with a payload of over a ton, the Suburban can easily handle towing a loaded trailer plus passengers and belongings.
KBB also recognized the Chevy Tahoe as one of the best thanks to its dependable and well-built rear axle, which improves the SUV’s off-road performance. With the 5.3-liter V8 engine, the Tahoe can haul a trailer ranging from 7,500-8,200 pounds. As a full-size, three-row SUV, the Tahoe remains a fan favorite among consumers.
If you’re looking for a reliable, affordable used SUV in Fort Worth, Texas, our staff at Bruce Lowrie Chevrolet agrees with KBB that the Chevy Suburban and Tahoe are excellent choices.

While Chevrolet has a reputation for its American-made cars, it’s also known for giving back to those who help make America the great nation that it is today. To this end, it recently auctioned off the first retail 2023 Chevy Corvette Z06 70th Anniversary Edition at Barrett-Jackson.
Proceeds from the sale of this Corvette went directly to Operation Homefront, a nonprofit that supports American military families. This organization strengthens and assists those that serve our country in a variety of ways. This includes connecting wounded vets with rent-free transitional housing to helping military families in need pay for housing, utilities, and food.
President and CEO of Operation Homefront expressed gratitude for the $3.6M donation. “The proceeds […] will go a long way to helping us help our military families overcome their financial hardships and have the opportunity to thrive in the communities […] they’ve worked so hard to protect.”
This recent auction is just the latest way that Chevrolet is continuing its legacy of sponsoring Operation Homefront. In the past, the automaker has supported the organization financially and donated seven Silverado trucks to the nonprofit.
Stay tuned to our blog for more news on Chevy’s charitable endeavors. And be sure to stop by Bruce Lowrie Chevrolet to take one of our Corvette models for a spin.

If you’re looking for a budget-friendly car — whether to use as your main vehicle, a second car for your family, or even a first car for a teen driver — consider a subcompact car or hatchback. Subcompacts are easy to maneuver, super fuel-efficient, and the most affordable cars you can get when you buy used.
KBB.com has released its list of the 10 Best Used Subcompact Cars Under $10,000, and the 2016 Chevy Sonic placed high on the list. KBB noted the availability of different engine options and the technology on the Chevy Sonic that make it a great choice for drivers in search of a small car.
There is a lot to choose from when you buy a used Chevy Sonic. Besides the two engines, which include the base 1.8-liter four-cylinder and an available 1.4-liter turbocharged engine, the 2016 Sonic comes in four trim levels with exciting amenities at every trim.
The base LS trim, for example, delivers convenience with keyless entry, while the LT comes with a 7-inch touch screen. The LTZ trim gets you heated front seats, a feature you might not expect on a small, affordable car. And the highest trim, the RS, adds leather seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel for a luxurious touch.
If you’d like to learn more about the Chevy Sonic or any other used car, contact our team at Bruce Lowrie Chevrolet in Fort Worth, Texas.
U.S. News & World Report’s list of the “12 Most Comfortable SUVs of 2021” included two Chevrolet vehicles, affirming the automaker’s dedication towards building family-friendly vehicles that emphasize a welcoming, cozy, and convenient interior.
2021 Chevrolet Suburban
This full-size SUV offers up to 144.7 cubic feet of cargo space. But its ample room wasn’t the only thing attracting it to the judges at U.S. News. Soft-touch surfaces complete with metal accents give the SUV a modern yet comfortable atmosphere. Meanwhile, Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, and an available 4G LTE® Wi-Fi Hotspot help keep everyone entertained on long trips.
2021 Chevrolet Traverse
The 2021 Traverse is a mid-size SUV that impressed the judges with its spacious seats across all three rows and its best-in-class cargo space, which is up to 98.2 cubic feet. The Traverse can tow up to 5,000 pounds and still achieves 18 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway, ensuring that you and your family won’t be making constant stops to refuel.* The hidden storage within the 2021 Traverse reduces clutter and adds convenience while the available hands-free power liftgate makes it easier than ever for busy parents to load and unload the cargo area.
Here at Bruce Lowrie Chevrolet, the Chevy Suburban and Tahoe are two of our best-selling vehicles. What our customers may not realize is just how quickly the “RST” models of these vehicles are driven off the lot after arriving.
By comparison, the average time that a new vehicle spends on a dealership lot is about 60 days. The Tahoe RST and Suburban RST manage to sell out much faster than that.
So, what makes the RST trims of both vehicles so desirable? With exclusive features like a monochromatic Black grille with Black Ice accents and 22-inch bright machined high-gloss Black-painted aluminum wheels, these models give both the Suburban and Tahoe a sleek and streamlined look.
Others versions of the Chevy Suburban and Tahoe have also managed to sell very well. During the fourth quarter of last year, Chevrolet sold 28,698 units of the Tahoe, a sales increase of 36.1 percent compared to the fourth quarter of 2019. The Suburban also saw a sales increase of 32.56 percent for a total of 13,577 units sold in 2020’s fourth quarter.
If you want a Chevrolet Tahoe RST or Suburban RST, we suggest you stop by Bruce Lowrie Chevrolet and pick up one of your own before they sell out.
If you need a heavy-duty truck, you deserve something that you can depend on to help make your work easier. Recently, the Chevrolet Silverado HD was ranked the most dependable truck in the Large Heavy Duty pickup segment as part of the J.D. Power 2021 Vehicle Dependability Study.
To name the winners in this study, J.D. Power surveyed owners of three-year-old vehicles and asked them to report any defects or problems that they may have noticed since their purchase. J.D. Power asked about more than 177 various problems, including technology issues and mechanical malfunctions.
While many newer vehicles are having fewer and fewer mechanical issues with features like the engine, brakes, and transmission, the Chevrolet Silverado HD earned its top marks from its high-performing technology. The Silverado HD comes well-equipped with cutting-edge tech and is available with advanced trailering and safety features.
This J.D. Power award applies to three-year-old models; however, we’re sure that you can expect the same level of dependability from new models like the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado HD. This truck has a maximum available towing capacity of 36,000 pounds. It also boasts some innovative technology, including 15 available camera views and an available Advanced Trailering System that allows you to create multiple trailer profiles and run through a pre-departure checklist.
